What Is CBG? Meet the “Mother of All Cannabinoids” + Our New Balance Brew Tea
At Earth Angel CBD, we believe in the healing harmony and intelligent design of nature. That’s why we don’t just stop at CBD—we explore the full spectrum of what the hemp plant has to offer.Today, we’re shining a light on one of the lesser-known but powerful cannabinoids making waves in the wellness world: CBG. Plus, we’re thrilled to unveil the newest tea in our wellness collection—Earth Angel CBD Balance Brew, infused with both CBD and CBG for next-level calm and clarity.
So, What Is CBG?
CBG, short for cannabigerol, is often called the “mother of all cannabinoids.” Why? Because it’s the very first cannabinoid produced by the hemp plant, and the one from which others like CBD and THC are derived.
While it’s present in much smaller amounts than CBD, early research shows CBG has its own unique and powerful benefits:
Potential Benefits of CBG:
- Mental Clarity & Focus – CBG may help enhance concentration and mental sharpness, making it a great daytime companion.
- Mood Support – CBG interacts with receptors in the brain that may influence emotional balance.
- Gut Health – Emerging studies suggest CBG may support digestive wellness and reduce inflammation in the gut.
- Neuroprotective Properties – CBG is being studied for its potential to support brain health and protect nerve cells.
- Anti-inflammatory & Antibacterial Effects – Like CBD, CBG shows promise in helping manage inflammation and combat certain bacteria.
And just like CBD, CBG is non-psychoactive, meaning it won’t get you high—but it might help you feel more balanced, uplifted, and in flow.
